JOB BODY
· Installation, support and maintenance of the application (including its configuration or customization) including:
o Software and hardware installs, re-installs, upgrades, moves, changes and relocations made when necessary and as required
o Support of the server environment on which the application is running including monitoring uptime, upgrades, backups, integrity checks, etc., coordinating with other IT resources as necessary
o Troubleshooting and resolution of application incidents that cannot be handled by the Help Desk, coordinating with other internal and external parties as necessary
o Development and ongoing update of a knowledge database relating to support and maintenance issues
· Planning and implementing changes to the application as part of a structured release process (as approved by management) including:
o Customization and configuration of the baseline application software, coordinating with other internal and external parties as necessary
o Structured testing of application changes, coordinating with other internal and external parties as necessary (e.g., coordination of UAT with appropriate business stakeholders)
o Project management activities relating to large changes such as building specific applications and configurations for internal customers
o Gathering and documenting software requirements from the business for new application requests
o Maintenance of application documentation including system and user documentation
o Creation of reports on application usage, identification of known issues and proactive identification of upcoming projects
o Provision of user training and expert advice to user
o Participation in the application CAB, as required by management
· Dynamics AX 2009 & Dynamics CRM:
o Perform general administration for the application, including creating new accounts and retrieving passwords
o Act as primary point of contract for requests for information and support
o Assist users in documenting change requests
o Maintain user documentation for specific geographic site and feature usage
o Create and maintain a knowledge base and FAQ list
· SharePoint:
o Perform routine SharePoint farm administration tasks using best practises
o Perform SharePoint customisation using Site Definitions, SharePoint Templates, customized workflows and development / implementation of custom web parts
o Create and maintain users as required, using AD groups where possible
o Keep an optimal running state of the Server Farm that supports the Intranet and its software (SharePoint, IIS, Windows 2003 Server). Backups, integrity checks and change management regarding applications running on the Intranet and its content are part of daily responsibilities.
o Maintain user documentation for site and feature usage
· SQL:
o Work with IT team on optimization of data storage, efficiencies, capacity planning, database growth and backup / restore procedures
o Work with IT team to analyze database logs & trouble shoot database issues
The following are responsibilities expected of all IT employees:
· Job responsibilities must be performed at all times in a manner consistent with standard IT policies and procedures and according to the expectations set by management.
o Periodically perform project work in place of or in addition to the ongoing operational tasks.
o Perform other technical responsibilities as ‘backup’ to another individual who has primary responsibility for that platform/system/task. Adequate knowledge of the platform/system/task must be acquired and kept current so the backup role can be performed at any time.
· The incumbent will:
o Provide proactive knowledge transfer to other IT colleagues on an ongoing, adhoc basis; additionally, structured knowledge transfer as a result of training or specialist knowledge will periodically be required.
o Provide coaching, motivation and guidance to junior members of the team.
o Prepare and keep updated good quality English language documentation describing key processes and activities of this role.
o Continually improve own knowledge base and work performed as an individual.
o Demonstrate an excellent understanding of company and departmental goals and objectives and proactively participate in identification and implementation of solutions and process or other improvements to benefit the company or department.
o Provide proactive knowledge transfer to other IT colleagues on an ongoing, adhoc basis; additionally, structured knowledge transfer as a result of training or specialist knowledge will periodically be required.
o Provide coaching, motivation and guidance to junior members of the team.
o Prepare and keep updated good quality English language documentation describing key processes and activities of this role.
o Continually improve own knowledge base and work performed as an individual.

Required Skills
Microsoft Applications:
· 2 years of knowledge on ERP (Dynamics AX) and CRM systems (Dynamics CRM)
· Knowledge of Sharepoint Server 2007, IIS and Sharepoint Designer 2007, SQL Server 2005, MS 5060a and 5061
· Solid understanding of SharePoint site administration and permissions structure. Skills to install, configure, and support SharePoint Portal Server, Windows SharePoint Services and integrate related 3rd party applications SQL Server.
SQL:
· Experience of working with SQL 2005 / 2008 Database servers
· Experience of SQL replication, SQL clustering and an understanding of the interaction between SAN and database
· Experience with SQL backup / restore procedure
· Good understanding Microsoft SQL. Be able to write SQL statements, stored procedures and views using industry best practices for security and efficiency
Other:
· Must possess and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
· Customer-friendly communication in all communication mediums (telephone, email, etc.) at all times. This includes being capable of presenting technical information in clear business language.
· Good listening and interpersonal skills
· Able to gather information, evaluate options and offer good solutions quickly, competently and patiently.
· Must demonstrate excellent quality, creative troubleshooting and problem resolution skills with keen attention to detail.
· Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written – other languages a plus
· Must be highly self-motivated and able to work collaboratively as a member of the IT-Facilities team as well as independently.
· Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio
· Demonstrated project management experience.
Must demonstrate good time management and organizational skills, able to prioritize and execute quality work, remain calm and keep a professional demeanor even under aggressive deadlines or when the environment becomes fast-paced or intense
• Must have at least 3 years demonstrated Application Administration experience
• Must have at least 3 years customer service experience
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Must have an academic degree from an accredited university/college
• MS certifications - Sharepoint and/or Dynamics AX preferred
• ITIL or PRINCE2 certification a plus.
