Major consumer health communications company  is seeking an Web Designer to produce art and copy layouts to be presented in various electronic products, including Web sites, portals, online newsletters, e-mail pages and Web content.

Responsible for converting printed material to the Web and updating and maintaining those products. The designer will work with pre-defined templates or creative assets and must match established designs and branding when making updates.
·Ability to write or hand-code original HTML
·Knowledge of CSS and ability to modify CSS as required; ability to write original CSS desirable.
·Demonstrated skills in page layout and art selection, specifically for use in electronic media.
·Experience with Photoshop and Acrobat; ability to learn new software applications as required.
·Knowledge of current Internet standards and limitations, including layout, navigation, browser-compatibility, usability and accessibility.
·Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 1 years’ professional experience in Web design.
·Ability to work quickly and creatively to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines in a team-based environment.
