Basic UNIX (any one or more of AIX, Sun Solaris, HP -UX)

OS understanding and commands. Working knowledge
of DB2, Oracle, mySQL databases on UNIX.
Their Performance Tuning, fea tures and concepts. Familiarity with C/C++ compilers on UNIX and the build process would be an added advantage.

Application Testing, performance testing and benchmark
statistics collection. Various processors knowledge –
Itanium, Pow er, Sun Sparc, Multi -Core Intel processors
etc.
