Mandatory Requirements:
Five years experience working with Oracle, with a thorough understanding of the architecture and processes of the Oracle server, including Oracle 9i and/or Oracle 10g, or higher.Three years experience as an Oracle database administrator in a production database environment.Database Administrator experience with the development of large scale, complex applications involving on-line and bath environments.Three years experience in monitoring and tuning the general performance, of the Oracle database.Three years experience writing SQL-PL/SQL, stored procedures and Triggers.Three years experience in identifying business rules and database design.Experience in the transition of systems, including the transfer of knowledge and mentoring.Desirable Experience:
Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.Five years experience designing Oracle databases, including requirements definition, business rule analysis, data modeling, and logical /physical design.Five years experience administering Unix-based Oracle 9i and 10g databases in a production environment, with an in-depth understanding of both Oracle 9i and 10g architectures and new features.Five years experience preparing and conducting large scale application presentations & training sessions for the core user community and management.Five years experience designing and creating ad hoc reports based upon federal and state requirements.Five years experience in designing, developing and maintaining Oracle database structures in the support of Human Services initiatives.
