Responsible for the overall quality and accuracy of all documents including proposals, presentations, financial reports, presentations, and letters of correspondence; checks spelling, punctuation, grammar, footing, format, and style. Ensures all reports conform to the CLIENTS formats, styles, and standards. Helps set and review department standards and procedures, ensuring quality standards are met.
Support Tax, Assurance, and Consulting Staff by providing quality control.
· Conform all reports to the standard CLIENT format (s); ensure headings, dates, continued footers, underscoring, bold lines, $ signs for tables, and indentations are correct
· Edit documents for consistency and errors, focusing on quality assurance
· Edit financial statements for correct opinions, agreement (cross-referencing) of numbers and captions from one statement to another, agreement of statements with notes, language that is clear, logical and is not contradictory from one part to another
· Ensure cross-referencing and footing in financial statements
· Check computations for accuracy of percentages and other data, whenever possible
· Interact with all levels of staff and management
· Make edits on line
· Work accurately under time constraints
· Remain flexible for overtime
· Remain current with all standard software
· Provide copy editing services, including style, flow and overall structure, upon request
· Complete assignments on time at optimum quality
· Maintain and track chargeable hours for internal accounting recoveries and assist with special projects as requested
