The ideal candidate should have degree in Marketing, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science with an emphasis in statistics; advanced degree a plus. Should have a good understanding of analytical CRM and experience in the analytical marketing methodology and data mining, experience in the analysis of marketing databases using SAS, SPSS, or KXEN or another statistical modeling tool, understand SQL; experience with SQL a plus, demonstrate a proven practice of project management discipline; project management skills a plus, excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business people, ability to derive insight from large amounts of data from diverse sources, Strong aptitude, ability, motivation and interest in placing quantitative analysis in the context of marketing and business economics, ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities. We would prefer candidates who would have finished MSc/MPhill in Statistics/Economics/or/Engg. Degree from Top Tier Local Engineering College. Must be willing to travel 100%. The resource should understand consulting lifestyle - providing directions, preparing strategy/approach points of view, doing tool/analytical comparisons and asset development work and should be comfortable learning new software tools – needs to be a fast learner.
A Analytics Development & Management Consultant should have 4 to 8 years in Analytic modeling in SAS or KXEN, preferably with a portion in a consulting/client management role; ideal candidate would have experience with predictive modeling in a marketing database environment with large volumes of customer information and be involved in the planning and executing quantitative analytical projects.
A Analytics Development & Management Analyst should have 1 to 3 years in Analytic modeling (SAS not compulsory), 2 years using other packages. Would be part of a team working on Analytics involving a large volume of data.
