Responsibilities include: # # ## Install/upgrade and testing all WAN, LAN and firewall devices, cabling and sockets as well as telephone systems, including large ISPBXs, server-based call centre technology, voicemail and mobile telephony ## Ensure the security, integrity, availability and monitoring of the data communications network, including LAN, WAN, CAT5 ## Engage and take a lead role in projects to upgrade the systems, including LAN, WAN, IPPBX, IP telephony, call centre technology, mobile technology and all future new developments ## Manage staff recruitment, appraisal, training, development and Deputise for ICT Services Manager when required.
Must have: # # ## Experience supporting a corporate data communications network, comprising Ethernet LAN, WAN, structured cabling and TCP/IP protocol, Hands on experience of network troubleshooting in a client-server environment along with experience of working with HP Openview or other equivalent network management systems. ## Experience in implementing security solutions, in particular firewall / systems for remote access ## Experience in project managing major telecom project which will include LAN, WAN and/or ISPBX/PABX implementations as well as Staff management and development skills
