WE are looking for motivated individual to join the IT team as an Database Administrator to support and manage Database technologies in Production and R&D environments.
The candidate will be involved in a very dynamic environment implementing advanced technologies from IBM & Oracle on various platforms from SUN, IBM, Red Hat and Microsoft.

The candidate will be involved in evaluating and deploying latest Database technologies to assist the R&D Organization.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan and perform Database Server/Client installation, 
    configuration and maintenance tasks for Production and R&D
    projects on various advanced database technologies from
    IBM   and Oracle.
2. Manage database management activities on varied operating
   system platforms from SUN, IBM, RedHat & Microsoft on both
   32 bit and 64 bit operating systems.
3. Manage, implement & support clustered environments multiple
   database technologies.
4. Assist developers in database performance tuning and
   configuration.
5. Work closely with R&D on upgrades and enhancements 
   needed for software certification on various systems.
6. Participate in a global DBA team, supporting production and
    development databases
7. Work closely with system administrators across the Global
    offices.
