Database Engineer Olap - SQL Server

Design and construction of key database components of our client application environment.

Will work in conjunction with other IT, Development and business groups to implement the requirements for scalability, performance, security, integrity, and integration from a database perspective.
Performs functions as a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:

1. Transformation of business requirements into normalized database designs.
2. Provide stable databases that can be leverage throughout the enterprise application environment.
3. Evaluate IT/business request for new or modified database to determine feasibility, cost, time required, compatibility, and capacity requirements.
4. Prepare flowcharts, diagrams, or other documentation to illustrate database design and architecture.
5. Carry out performance tuning and monitoring and make recommendations on hardware upgrades.
6. Develop OLAP cubes and techniques to access the data.
7. Loading of all data to each of the databases within our framework.
8. Responsible for quality control of the database creation and loads.
 Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, OLAP and Business Intelligence tools.

 Two years of experience with Microsoft SQL server database environments.
