Hardware Engineer

The Senior Engineer– Hardware is responsible for FPGA design and board level design.  This person will work on projects relating to Digital Video.

The successful candidate will possess a BSEE related subject area (or equivalent experience) and 5 plus years of hardware development  experience.  Prior experience in a “customer facing” and/or hardware lead role preferred.  Strong written and verbal communication skills; a successful track record of delivering projects on time; and a high level of self-motivation are required.  The successful candidate will be comfortable doing project estimation, board level design, digital logic design, and system design.  Experience with 32 bit Microprocessors, CPLDS and VHDL for large FPGA’s required.  Depending upon the specific role, travel is required. 

Experience in digital video design, video scaling techniques, and sensor technology is an asset.
