My client is a growing technology company currently involved in a number of very high profile projects. Due to the continuing success of the company there is a requirement for an additional Help Desk analyst/1st Line Support Engineer.

The successful applicant is required to work in the First Level Support Team and will be the first point of contact for Customers and Development Partners requiring technical and application support on a range of web based products.

Main areas of responsibility will include: logging and chasing calls, fixing of minor technical issues, maintenance of product knowledge base and communicating with 2nd line support and development, whilst working to strict service level agreements.


Essential skills: minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role with emphasis on strong written and verbal communication skills, a good understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word), good telephone manner, attention to detail, understanding of database technology.

Desirable: knowledge of ITIL, experience using call logging software e.g. Marval, experience supporting web based applications.

You must have a flexible approach and be interested in gaining new skills through ongoing training and development.
