This role has responaibility within the IT department for the co-ordination of the departments forward strategy and necessary development, designed to deliver the services required by all other departments in their pursuits of achievement of the Corporate Plan.  This position has the principle co-oridnation function for planning, budget development and oversign and resource determination for the IT department.
BA Degree for a recognised university in Computer Science or similar.  Postgraduate qualifications in Information Systems or an MBA desireable, with Financial and budgeting trianing a preference.  15 years experience in Information Technology covering all areas of IT operations and 3 years working in a multicultural organisation in the Oil & Gas sector a preference.  Able to demonstrate excellent communication, influenging, presentation and facilitiation skills.  Excellent planning, analytical and abstract problem solving skills.
