A fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Technical Support Officer to join one of the country’s leading providers healthcare services and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical IT background, with excellent communication/interpersonal skills, and a minimum of 2-years experience providing technical support in a commercial environment. He/she will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for users based around the USA, primarily by telephone and remote desktop. The Technical Support Officer will support PCs running MS Windows operating systems with standard desktop applications and hardware, as well as business critical applications developed by the in-house software development team. In addition, he/she will assist other members of the team to support and maintain server and network infrastructure. # The successful candidate will also be required to provide on-call emergency support cover on a rota basis and be prepared to work on scheduled maintenance outside normal office hours.
