• At least 3-5 yrs experience in Production support
• Creation and configuration of database server and databases.
• Installation, upgrade and maintenance of database software
• Monitor database for availability and performance optimization
• Experience in backup and recovery
• Having exposure of working on RMAN
• Having good experience of working on Unix environment, preferably Linux.
• Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting techniques
• Shell scripting
• Proficient in PL/SQL
• Basic knowledge of RAC environment
• Exposure on Net apps
Primary: Good knowledge as oracle database administrator, experience in administration & management of database. Have worked on Oracle version 10g and 9i. Good analytical and logical skills. Good communication skills. Knowledge of RMAN.
Secondary: Hands-on in UNIX environment, preferably Linux (Redhat/Suse) should be able to understand shell or Perl Script. Knowledge of PL/SQL & basic understanding of RAC databases.
Should have worked in latest version of Oracle Database Key exposure should be RAC
