Responsibilities
 

 

  • Managing Data files, Control files, Online Redo Log files, Tablespaces
  • Administration of Tables & Indexes, Index Re-Organization, extent and user management            
  • Database Re-Organization.
  • Managing Password Security and Resources, Users, Privileges and Roles.
  • Implementation of Closed Database Backups (Cold Backups / Offline Backups).
  • Conversion of Database in Archive Log / No Archive Log Modes.
  • Setting up scripts necessary for export and to shutdown the databases and takes off-line    cold backup.
  • Designed and Developed Backup Strategies and Recovery Procedures to ensure the data        recoverability.
  • Implementation Complete Recovery (Archive Log Mode).
  • Importing data from old files using export/import utility
  • Configure and took Backup of database using RMAN.
  • Creating Database Links and Snapshots.
  • Used Oracle’s DATA PUMP utility for Tablespace cross platform transport
