Responsibilities:
Migrating/Porting applications to Linux platform - Be the subject matter expert on Oracle database performance tuningAssist partners in improving the application performance.Provide technical input to partners on best practices and enable adoption of new features of Oracle Technology stack.Assist partners in migration of non-Oracle database to OracleAssist partners in modifying their application code to work with the Oracle Technology stack.Prepare whitepapers / articles on various migration and performance tuning topics.Proficient in performance tuning for large Oracle DB installations -3-5 years of experience a must.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.Strong application debugging and tuning skills on Unix/Linux platformDevelopment experience in client-server / 3-tier architecture is desirable.Proficient in ASP, ASP.Net, VB.Net and/or other Front-end technologies
