JOB BODY

1.      Release product drawings & specifications. Guide & control design output for Asst Manager R & D & Design Engineers.
2.      Monitor & control CAD Drawings in ProE / AutoCAD & Product Engineering Notes (PEN), made by Design Engineers.
3.      Interact with various Suppliers, Customers, Plants and various Central functions.
4.      Develop & maintain Product data Management systems for records so that it is possible to archive drawings / product documents & related correspondence / data including national and international standards.
5.      Understand the requirements of the Product as specified by customer and future trends in our product line.
6.      Conduct FEA studies on assemblies and components through design staff.
7.      Facilitate & monitor sample fabrication activity and testing.
8.      Do product changes for improvement based on the customer feedback, plant feedback & VA / VE activities.
9.      guide and monitor CAE and other design calculations for product design and for components.
10. motivate and develop innovation culture for design staff.

B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with R&D experience in Automotive OEM or ancillary. Knowledge of ProE & AutoCAD is essential. Post-graduate qualification is preferred.
