General Description

An IT Project Manager with our client’s Business Partner Global is expected to be very effective in organizing people and technical resources to achieve essential project goals in compliance with agreed constraints on quality, time and costs/quality. This requires a specific competence in project management techniques (both in case of packaged solutions and custom development) and a broad knowledge of Information Systems.
The IT Project Managers are organized in one global pool of Project Managers and our goal is that the Project Managers shall achieve a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Key Duties

Manage IT Projects according to time, cost and scope constraints

Implementing the project in accordance with the approved project charter

Establishing the project organization

Create Scope Statement

Planning The Execution and implementation of the project – Integrated Project Management Plan

Responsible for execution of the project according to the Scope statement and the Project Management Plan. This includes sourcing, managing the execution process and the test.

Managing the implementation of the project including final preparations, start up and hand over

Managing the project co-workers in the project period

Taking care of internal and external communication

Provide reporting status

Contributing to learning and lessons learned by preparing a final report from the project

Risk management in the project

Qualifications and Competencies

Recognised University Degree in Information Systems, Master of Sciences, Master of Business Administration or its equivalent

At least 3 years experience in IT Project Management

Knowledge and experience of the internationally recognized Project Management Institute’s (PMI) project Management Standard

Experience of Software development projects, IT upgrade projects, IT Infrastructure projects or SAP Projects.

Excellent interpersonal skills and good team member

Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken

Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, with sensitivity and respect for diversity

Self-motivated and capable of organizing own workload, with minimal supervision.
