The main responsibilities of the Senior Financial Application Analyst include:

Provide day to day first and second line support to the EMEA JDEdwards

To organize the implementation and maintenance of integrated financial systems and reporting software applications within our client Operations Group of companies, in line with project directives, corporate policies and objectives

To give JDE and Showcase training to new users

To suggest improvements to the accounting procedures or system set-up to reduce the quantity of helpdesk calls

Candidate should have a finance or IT background, with experience in both

Have at least 3 years of experience in a Finance Environment

Knowledge of the JDEdwards ERP Package or another ERP package (SAP, Oracle Finance, Sun Accounting, PeopleSoft Enterprise) is an asset

Have at least some experience with database systems (E.g. MS ACCESS)

Experience with Data Warehouse and / or OLAP Tool software is an asset

Knowledge of SQL programming is an asset

Good software skills (MS Office)

Good communicator, able to work in a team

Proven skills to deliver training to all levels of employees

Presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills are an asset

Excellent spoken and written English. Other languages (Dutch, French, German, Spanish and Italian) are an asset
