Software Test Engineer, The successful candidate will ideally have between 1-3yrs experience and will need to be flexible, motivated and to possess a high level of personal interaction skills as the position will involve considerable interaction with the Development Team. Products are Windows and IBM AS/400 based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) designed for the regulated industries - primarily the Pharmaceuticals, Food & Drink and Chemicals sectors.# The position involves: # # ## Writing of Test Plans from either a Technical (Program) Specification or a detailed Software Defect ## Functional Testing of Software following Test Plan ## dentify and document defects, questionable functions, and inconsistencies in application functionality. ## The Installation and post Installation Testing of the verified software.
## Knowledge of Software Testing Methodologies ## Previous experience developing Test Plans ## Experience of Windows based and/or IBM AS/400 applications ## Experience of MS Office suite
