1. Experience in an environment where Windows systems and Solaris systems integrate.
2. Experience with systems connectivity, networking.
3. Previous working experience with EMC.
4. Be able to be on call for 24x7 support.
1) Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in Solaris UNIX system administration.
2) Knowledge of Sun Entry-Level, Midrange and High-End Enterprise servers and Sun disk arrays.
3) Extensive knowledge and experience in supporting and troubleshooting Solaris networking services and protocols: TCP/IP, NIS, DNS, NFS, LDAP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SNMP, SSL, HTTP.
4) Shell scripting and/or Perl scripting experience.
5) Working knowledge of Solaris Disk Suite or Solaris Volume Manager.
6) Working knowledge of Veritas File System, Volume Manager, NetBackup and other Veritas products.
7) Experience in EMC storage array based SAN environment.
8) Experience in a UNIX environment with Oracle, Java application server and Websphere or other large-scale databases.
9) Candidate must possess solid analytical, technical, written and oral communication skills.
