1) 1. Minimum of 5 years experience in Solaris UNIX system administration including Solaris 10.
2) Minimum of 4 years experience with VCS, Veritas Storage foundation and other High Availability techniques in UNIX environment.
3) A minimum of 3 years experience with Veritas NetBackup.
4) Experience with Solaris Disk Suite or Solaris Volume Manager.
5) Shell scripting and/or Perl scripting experience.
6) Experience in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity in UNIX environment.
7) Experience in EMC storage array based SAN environment.
8) Knowledge of Sun Entry-Level, Midrange and High-End Enterprise servers and Sun disk arrays.
9) Extensive knowledge and experience in supporting and troubleshooting Solaris networking services and protocols: TCP/IP, NIS, DNS, NFS, LDAP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SNMP, SSL, HTTP.
10) Experience in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity in UNIX environment.
11) Experience in a UNIX environment with Oracle or other large-scale databases and Java application server like Websphere.
12) Experience in an environment where Windows systems and Solaris systems must integrate.
13) Beable to be on call for 24x7 Support.
14) Candidate must possess solid analytical, technical, written and oral communication skills.
