Web Designer – Photoshop, Flash, XHTML, CSS Up to 250,000 re per annum + discretionary bonus

Are you an experienced Web Designer who eats, sleeps, and breathes DIVs? Are you an expert when it comes to Photoshop, Fireworks & Flash? If so, this may be the role for you.

We provide internet solutions for all type of businesses ranging from start-up companies to some of the UK’s leading firms. An opportunity has arisen for a Web Designer to join our team. You will be based in Pune, India reporting to our Indian office but majority of projects you will work on will be for our UK, European and USA based clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive web design experience and a pixel perfect attention to detail, looking to take the next step in their career.

Working within a team, in this role you will be responsible for designing and developing conceptual websites for clients.

Your duties will include:

- Working on a project from conception to launch
- Troubleshooting issues with existing websites and systems
- Creating and turning PSD/PNG into full XHTML driven websites and templates

- Integrating new online ideas and technology to keep it fresh including Social Media

- Recommending new ideas and innovations
- Testing the web sites for functionality in different browsers/ resolutions

-Participate in business development efforts

To be considered for the role of Web Designer, you must have:

- A solid experience of working in a design studio/ company
- Extensive experience in XHTML, CSS, Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash

-Working knowledge of Wordpress, Joomla and Modx

additionally, you should be a team player and have excellent communication skills. You will also need a great attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Applicants must be able to provide examples of their work in an online portfolio.

Although not essential, experience of using Flash Action Scripting and Wordpress coding would be an advantage. A working knowledge of PHP would also be beneficial to your application.
