Web Infrastructure Administrator

- Responsibility for the provision of day to day support and administration of a production mission critical infrastructure environment.

- Will also act as the secondary backup for the Windows Systems Administrator.

- Work as part of the IT Operations team providing critical infrastructure systems support for a 24X7 mission critical enterprise environment

- Install OS, patches, software, hardware, upgrades while working closely with external vendors.

- Work with IT and business stakeholders to lead capacity planning and performance tuning of the environment to optimize performance regionally and globally.

- Work with the Operations teams globally, recommending improvements in system resilience and reliability.

- Assist in the enhancement and evolution of existing processes and Service Level Agreements.

- Work closely with Application Support teams to provide them with systems administration support.

- Weblogic/WebSphere, SunOne Directory Server (LDAP), Apache.

- Experienced in systems server infrastructure planning, testing, deployment, operations, and maintenance.

- Experienced with capacity planning, utilization review, and performance monitoring.

- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a global support team with minimal supervision.

- Have an analytical mind which can apply trouble shooting skills systemically and methodologically to identify root cause and resolve problems.
