DOE Next Generation Wireless Project Director, the wireless clients developer will be responsible for developing the automation tools for wireless clients configuration based on specific set of criteria’s.  The developer will work with a team of wireless architects, systems architects, and engineers in an organizational framework that includes architecture, design, and implementation and support process development.




Skills, Tasks and Responsibilities
 

·   Develop tool to configure wireless clients (WiFi 802.11a/b/g) using (Windows Zero Configuration) WZC API, Native WiFi API and Direct NDIS calls

·   Develop tool that uses third party C++ wireless API

·   Expert in C# / Visual Studio 2008

·   Expert in Windows application development using (Windows Presentation Foundation) WPF, (Windows Communication Foundation) WCF, and WorkFlow using C#

·   Expert in C# programming of the Windows Registry, (Windows Management Instrumentation) WMI, and COM.

·   Ability to create wrapper DLLs to interface with WIN32 unmanaged code

·   Expert in C# programming of Windows Services, Web Services, Remoting

·   Expert in C# Active Directory services programming

·   Proficient in C# MS SQL 2005 Database programming and design

·   Proficient in ADO.NET, LINQ, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Database Clustering, and Crystal Reports

·   Use WIN32 APIs to enumerate computer hardware

·   Proficient in C# Socket, named pipes, IPC, and Multithreading programming

·   Solid understanding of wireless client technologies and dot1x supplicants

·   Understanding of wireless LAN protocols including WPA encryption and Microsoft PEAP (MSCHAPv2) authentication.
