Implementation Engineer
Responsible for covering the technical aspects of the Implementation, starting from pre-sales and extending into implementation and after-care of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software WRENCH COLLAB in various Projects, Entities, Divisions and Groups of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO, Dept. of Space, Govt. Of India), Trivandrum.
Pre-sales activities:
• Discuss process improvements and technical details with customers and leads
• Translate processes into configured and customised workflow in the application
• Create and deliver standard & customised application demonstrations
• Presentations and demos to prospects, customers, at seminars and exhibitions
• Answering Requests for Information & Proposals (RFI/RFP)
• Prepare and execute Pilots & Proof of Concepts
• Investigate & solve technical/process/architecture/customisation questions
Post sales activities:
• Implementation & process workshops
• Translate requirements into application architecture/functionality
• Implement (install, configure, customize)
• Creation and delivery of standard and customised application training (functional, customisation and architecture courses)
• Do manual testing of the various modules introduced in the software as per customer requirements

Implementation Activities:
• Definition, installation, manual testing and configuration of the various components of the WRENCH COLLAB PLM software
• Building or configuring server for client systems, DB\'s like Oracle, SQLserver
• Platforms: Windows (W2K Server, XP, 2003), Linux, Unix environments
• Executing of scripts for data cleansing/conversion/extraction using Oracle
• Optimizing, upgrading and expanding of existing customer installations, applications and functionality
• Introducing capturing and sharing of knowledge as well as best practices in various entities / Divisions / Groups in the Indian Space Research Organisation using WRENCH COLLAB software
• Introducing manual testing into the process of building new modules in the software.
• Introducing the use of web based issue management tools
• Contributed to the introduction of WRENCH COLLAB in the various divisions in ISRO where it is not done already.
