This project deals with developing a project estimation system, which is used in most of the IT companies to undergo project in an efficient manner. Estimates predict the effort, resources and size of the proposed project. Estimates provide a baseline against which project activities are executed and the progress of the project is controlled. Estimating relies upon past experience to predict future results. A frame of reference can lend credibility to initial estimates if the estimator can identify and analyze previous projects with similar attributes and characteristics.
