WORK EXPERIENCE
Project Manager – SAP Security - Role Based Access Control
At present handling project for evaluating and maintaining Role Based Access Control system in SAP (4.7, ECC 6 & BW) as a Project Manager at Mahindra & Mahindra. Job responsibilities include:
• Understanding the business process and designing roles based upon the job responsibilities of each personnel involved in the process
• Creating sample role in SAP and critically testing its functionality
• Internal Audit (authorizations) of the SAP system
• Maintaining RBAC to meet the changing business needs
• Identifying SoD (Segregation of Duties) conflicts and reporting the same
• Monthly / Quarterly issue/incident reporting
• Provide global support to M&M personnel working on SAP
• Identifying critical authorizations on SAP system and restricting the same

As a project manager I successfully led the implementation of RBAC in the latest SAP ECC 6.0 system at M&M’s Systech Group of companies.
Security Consultant – SAP - Role Based Access Control
Maintained Role Based Access Control system for users in SAP through risk based and segregation of duties approach. Prepared detail role authorisation matrix with Transaction codes and its authorisation objects. Identifying role controlling factors available in the authorisation objects in SAP to restrict authorisation. Job responsibilities include:
• Maintenance of RBAC in Materials Management & Sales and Distribution Module
• Monthly & Quarterly issue/incident reporting
Security Consultant – Practice Development
Was involved in development of consulting service in the domain of secure telecom processes. Responsibilities included studying the existing telecom processes and identifying security vulnerabilities to evolve secure processes. Was also involved in the overall development of the consultancy.
