Project Work

B. Tech. Main Project (Microcontroller AT89C51 based security system)
Description: It’s a user controllable security system, which indicates intrusion of strangers. Interfacing of memory I.C. AT24C08, DTMF generator HT9200A, DTMF receiver CM8870 (using latch 74HC541), 4x4 crosspoint switch (using latch 74LS244) and matrix keyboard etc. with microcontroller AT89C51. This device is connected through phone line and works as an automatic security system, answering machine and listening bug (to listen all the voices and sounds near the device from a remote location by just dialing the phone number (and entering the correct password), through which the device is connected)
Team Size: Two
Role: Collecting information on devices, collecting datasheets of components, P.C.B. designing using Orcad, assembly language programming of Microcontroller AT89C51.

Industrial Training
Completed four week Industrial training in Microwave and Optical fiber communication in INDIAN RAILWAYS, North Central Railway, JHANSI (Uttar Pradesh) in August 2005. Activities performed under training are as follows:
Estimation of digital communication link between Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) and Agra (Uttar Pradesh) with the help of Microwave/Optical fiber cable network. The following tasks are also performed during the training period:
• Study of Microwave radio equipment
• Study of Earthing arrangement of Microwave station
• Study of multiplexing system
• Maintenance of microwave station
• Study of Optical fiber cable network
