Responsibilities -
• As a Quality Controller I ensure that the error free page make up released by the operator for the final presentation.
• I also do pre job analysis which is part of scheduling in which I estimate the time that is taken for job to be done.
• I have also been trained in word processing so that I can help the team in operation at the time of bottleneck.

Newgen Imaging Systems Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.
Newgen deals with Integrated services addressing end-to-end needs of the e-Publishing industry, combining traditional typesetting skills with high-end e-Publishing technologies to present a unique outsourcing proposition. Newgen services more than 12 top global publishers in UK, Europe, and the USA. Incorporated in 1996 as a privately held company, Newgen has been recording consistent growth of 45% CAGR. Newgen production facilities are headquartered in Chennai, the knowledge capital of India, complemented by a specialist editing centre at Bangalore.
Role – Technical Editor – Newgen (Thiruvanmiyur) Chennai.

Responsibilities -
• As a Technical Editor I take care of page design & page layout & ensure that error proof text is released for publishing
• I also do job analysis which is part of production and planning department in which study the Job, analyze the complexity and prepare style sheet.
• I also handle revises, which is the second stage at which the author sends his corrections in the first proofs for the final book layout.
• Apart from Technical Editing, I also manage word pagination.
• I also manage to do XML cross reference linking.

This book is considered to be a complete guide for the scholars for the reference of literary works.

Project-2 Medical handbooks.
The project deals with editing books concerning medical profession., which is a complete guide for the doctors aiding them in critical situations for decision making. This project is designed and on such a template which aids to design & format the contents and provides hyperlinks between the contents of the book which is considered to a helping hand for the web publishing for quick reference. This aids in quick reference with extensive knowledge in least time which is at most suitable for current market scenario.
Apart from these I have also edited Encyclopedias, Engineering books, academic and higher education books with sophisticated stylistic elements.
