JOB DESCRIPTION:
Document process diagrams, data flow diagrams, flow charts, data maps and data dictionaries as appropriate. " Create documentation and check lists for internal processes that can be easily understood by another team member. " Provide training and support to the end-user community. " Provide reasonable estimates to ensure reasonable target dates. " Meet scheduled target dates. " Communicate revised estimates and target dates to customers and management in a timely manner. " Adhere to published standards and procedures, such as naming conventions, security, programming conventions, code walkthroughs, testing conventions and migration processes. " Conduct meetings as needed in a professional manner, which includes preparing agendas, distributing agendas, preparing handouts, keeping meetings on track and publishing minutes. " Update status on requests in request tracking system or task plans. " Update operations and user documentation as needed. " Maintain technical knowledge of PeopleSoft application and development tools: " Attend PeopleSoft training. " Attend workshops, seminars, brown bag sessions, etc. " Arrange one-on-one training. " Find opportunities to improve processes and customer service: " Improve internal standards and processes to promote increased quality, performance and customer service. " Improve application processes to promote increased performance, efficiency and customer self-sufficiency.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
4-year college degree (CIS, CS, MIS preferred) or a combination of education and work experience equivalent. Deep understanding of Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Time & Labor, and Payroll Administration principles and business processes. Processes supporting collective bargaining agreements and labor relations management are preferred. " Five years experience working with PeopleSoft HCM application version 8.3 or higher; excellent application implementation life cycle skills including experience developing requirements, conducting Fit/Gap analysis, performing application configurations, developing functional specifications and proven ability to translate needs analysis data into functional design. " Experience includes a minimum of two full SDLC implementations of PeopleSoft HCM Applications with team leadership of a large team (5-8 people). " Responsible for PeopleSoft HCM application design and implementation for a medium (10,000-15,000 employees) to large client (20,000+). " Team lead of one or more application development teams (Business Process & On-Line Reporting, Data Conversion, Interfaces, and Testing). " Benefits Administrative experience in Benefits Administrative Business Processes, Basic Benefit Tables, Data Quality, Ben Admin Plans and Rules Configuration, Event Maintenance Configuration, Open Enrollment, eBenefits, Benefits Billing, and Retroactive Benefits Processing. " Time & Labor Analyst experience in Time Reporting Process Design, T&L Role Security, T&L Payable Time Rules, Quality Edits, Process Control Reports, and end user support
