VP GM-Technology CTO

You will head clients engineering efforts as it builds world class technical products for the online marketing industry in India. You will be responsible for driving  engineering efforts - ideally from helping us architect solutions, to building the team, and then leading it. Client is leveraging technologies from around the world as well as developing cutting edge applications. We are on the cutting edge or software development and you will be leading these efforts. This takes ingenuity, persistence, and drive. You are a self-starter, and will be managing a team. You can lead at a high level to help us develop the right roadmap for our solutions, grow and mentor a team, as well as get your hands dirty thinking through core technical problems. If you don't love to get technically involved this position probably isn't for you.

UG Qualification:  BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA 
 
Personal Profile:

8+ yrs experience in software development – Must
Very strong analytical & problem solving skills – Must
Engineering degree – Must
3+ yrs experience in leading a small team of engineers – Must
Development experience in Java/J2EE or Open Source – Must
3+ yrs building software products or software as a service – Must
Project management experience preferred but not must. Not looking for full-time Program Managers or Project Managers for this role.
Must have TWO of the following –
Strong academic pedigree (Top engineering school)
Good Company Background preferably with some of the top global brands e.g. Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Ebay, Facebook but not limited to these.
Clear accomplishments as a software professional
           Must have TWO of the following –
At least 1-2 yrs on statistical modeling / machine learning / business intelligence & analytics.
Strong online advertising experience.
Strong experience in architecting web-based or web-scale platforms
